Electric Vehicle Charging, Source London

Background

Between 2015 and 2020, we helped to position Source London as the capital’s first fully integrated public EV charging network and a key solution to the capital’s air pollution crisis. The primary challenge was to secure separate agreements with 32 London boroughs and the City of London, to allow Source London to install its latest state-of-the-art EV charge points.

We worked closely with Source London to refine the narrative from a technical solution to an environmentally sustainable solution for the benefit of London and Londoners. We achieved this working closely with Source London and its partners, organising introductions and meetings with London’s political influencers and representatives, including MPs, Special Advisors and the then Transport Minister, Andrew Jones.

We also created early connections with potential partners including the London Electric Vehicle Company, which led to the signing of an MOU and a number of successful initiatives to support electric Black Cabs. Another key partnership we drove was with Gatwick Airport, enabling a seamless all EV journey from central London to the airport.

Alongside this programme, we developed compelling communications collateral, video testimonials, animation and infographic representations to tell the story of Source London and the benefits to Londoners, the environment, business and the councils.
